E3 ‘09: Muramasa: The Demon Blade Interview With Ignition Entertainment
Ignition Entertainment’s upcoming, Vanillaware developed, “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” proves that you can do gorgeous on the Nintendo Wii. The game’s simple 2D sidescrolling hack-n-slash gameplay mixed with it’s deep story, immense replay value, and work-of-art graphics made it a no-brainer for many critics’ best of E3 lists, and with good reason. If an ancient work of Japanese art were to suddenly come alive, and have Wiimotes pointed at it, it would inevitably become this game. Simply put, if you own a Wii, you must buy this game when it comes out in September and reward yourself with, what is shaping up to be, one of this year’s best Wii experiences. That’s right … “Muramasa” isn’t a game… it’s an experience.
