We got a chance to play with the PSP Go from Sony. PSP Go takes a whole new, but not a ground breaking, approach. Sony has opted to do away with the UMDs and takes on the digital download account. If you already own a PSP you already know you can now log on to PlayStation Network Account via the devices download games and do account management. The PSPgo comes with a built in 16GB HD but you can also use memory cards as well. All the other features and updates that you’ve come to expect from the device is here. The representative we spoke to was not able to give us an official but today they announced the device for $249.00. Keep in mind you can download games for your current PSP units.

E3 ‘09: Nintendo Dazzles and Wows… If You’re A Casual Gamer

OK, so this will be more of a live blog of sorts as I will be writing this while the press conference is showing. So bare with me, if there are a few mistakes or things I may have forgotten.

Nintendo executive Cammie Dunaway is introduced and gets right into it by firing off Nintendo’s biggest gun right out of the gate , unveiling “New Super Mario Bros 2″ for the Wii. The game will let four people take control of characters from the mushroom kingdom, introducing an new form of co-op not seen in a 2d Mario bros game before. “New Super Mario Bros 2″ is set for release this holiday season, and will be playable all week on the show floor. Coming into today, many people had guesses on what either Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft had to offer at their individual press conferences, but few could have guessed just how impressive Microsoft’s press conference would actually be (and that’s coming from a huge Sony fan). Microsoft not only introduced the next, exciting wave of traditional software; Modern Warfare 2 footage, a new arcade game from Cliffy B. and company, and Alan Wake, but also revealed new technology in the form of Project Natal - a medium which may change the world of gaming as we know it. My Big, Fat E3 Wish List

So gamers, E3 is only a couple of days away, and there is much to be excited for. The rumor mill has been working overtime for this year’s expo, even more so then in years past. With a slew of hardware and software debuts rumored to be on the way, this year’s E3 is shaping up to be epic, but with so many rumors flying about, it’s easy to lose track of which ones to keep an eye on. I myself am very excited (even though I won’t be attending… tear) and while there are so many potentially juicy details that may emerge from this year’s event, I have a few that I’m hoping will absolutely, positively come to fruition.
