28 Weeks Later(a.k.a zombie fick) trailer hits the net!

If you’re a fan of zombie flicks, then chances are you already caught the cult classic 28 Days. Well droppn’ this may with better fanfare comes the sequel cleverly named 28 Weeks Later. The trailer just hit the web in all it’s glorious resolutions. I admit I slept on the first film and caught it on DVD. The joint was pretty bananas and is on of my all time favorite zombies flicks(right next to Dawn of the Dead remake). After check out the trailer, i couldn’t help but get a sense of over production which Hollywood tends to do when they make sequels to low budget films that become hits. Either way, I will check this out in the theaters this time and hope it has the same charm as the first joint! Hit up the trailer and judge for yourself!

I agree 110% man!!!! Them fools over in Hollywood need to take note on how to do a proper zombie movie! The first movie (28 days) was basically Resident Evil 2. Damn im fed up with Hollywood and their butchering of game franchises!!!!!

Hellz yea!! zombie flixs done right!!! damn why’d res evil have to suck so much?!!! And speaking of zombie flix, i new fav film director Zach snyder(300, dawn of the dead remake) is steppin back into zombie land with a new flix called “army of the dead”. I’ll keep ya’ll up to date on the story as soon as i hear more.

I’ll give this movie a chance, but it’ll never beat the original. The black chick from the first made the movie. She was gangsta beyond imagination. Like the scene when they first rescued Cillian Murphy’s character and they took up shelter in the store. When she saw her partner had a cut on his arm, she disemboweled him with an axe on the spot without hesitation. She let homeboy know real quick she would have no qualms doing him next. Army of the Dead should be awesome. Zach hasn’t disappointed me yet.

BTW Since we’re talking about horror flicks. George Romero has finished filming Day of the Dead. He wants to do a Land of the Dead and a World of the Dead which are supposed to take place right after Land of the Dead. Also Sam Raimi of Spider Man fame is doing a remake of Evil Dead which he also made famous. Which leaves confused, why remake your own movie??

That sounds sweet!!! I hope them joints turn out as good as the Dawn of the Dead remake! As for Sam remaking evil dead, he should take the Tarantino route like Grindhouse and make that joint cheesy as hell!

Correction, the movies are Road of the Dead and World of the Dead after Land of the Dead. And I agree with Sir-G, the new Evil Dead should have the look and feel of an old grindhouse movie.
