Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is available now in Japan. And for those who don’t know, Final Mix is basically a Japaneses directors cut of the first kingdom hearts game. It includes new cut scenes that flesh out the story better as well as some new enemies and weapons. Included in the game is an extended teaser for Kingdom Hearts 3. The original teaser was shown at at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 and hinted at things to come(key blade war for example). One word can be said about this new extended version…..HOT!!!!. In it we now see what appears to be a new villain along with his ill henchmen. Also revealed are the faces behind those tight ass looking armor suits. I’m not sure who they all are, but one of them looks like Roxas(a little older now). I don’t know about ya’ll kats, but the teaser does a hell of a job of getting me amped for the next joint! DAMN I can’t wait!
Log this in the books as another reason why America sucks when it comes to cross promotions and tie-ins with game consoles! Currently running in Canada is a contest were the prizes are custom painted Wii consoles from various graff and comic book artist. There are some pretty sick looking paint jobs that are better in my opinion to the standard hardcore pc gammer style paint jobs that are pretty common. Hit up the link for the contest entry and of course, it dosen’t look like the contest is open to non-canadian residents(damn). Some sick joints either way. Check them out!
Wii Loop Machine Demo
You all have probbly seen the the Wii-mote modified into an DJ instrument from the various DJ’s across the net already. Well adding to the fray is a new mod to the remote were you can now control loop samples all the while adding and effecting pitches and whatnot. The video from “The Amazing Rolo” gives a pretty in depth and easy to follow demonstration on how the controller works in conjunction with your arm and hand movements. I have to admit this mod looks pretty impressive so far from all the ones I peeped already on the web.
Scroll to 4:00 in the video to see him really get down with the Wii-mote!!!
And as a news update, the now famous site DJ WiiJ has been purchased by Nintendo. What started out as one DJ’s mod to the remote and it’s website has now been snapped up by Nintendo themselves. And coming from the owner of DJ WiiJ, he states on his main site that Nintendo is now in the process of making a DJ game, but becuase of the usual NDA, is not allowed to talk further about it, but instead talks about ideas he has had for the mod. Either way, if you thought the Wii was a party system before, imagine busting out the controller and with the wave of your hands, you start drop the ill mix for listener to move too. DJ Sir-G in da house!!!!

Welcome to New York City!!! Welcome to New York City!!!
What we’ve always wanted folks! To wreck havoc on the streets of NY. Too bad TrueCrime already has the classic Camron and Jay-Z track “Welcome to New York City!” Check out the detail of the city that never sleeps!
Fresh off his colab with Luis Logic comes one of underground illest producers J.J Brown!!! JJ felt the need to bless Luda’s recent album Release Therapy with his own brand of flare. Taking some of the best sample from the Jackson 5 and laying them down under Luda’s ridiculous flo comes Ludacris/J5 Re-Release Therapy from beat miester JJ Brown. I highly recommend ya’ll kats download this joint! I personally think it’s the hootest remix to hit the scene since Danger Mouse’s The Grey Album. Cop the free download!!!

If you’re a fan of zombie flicks, then chances are you already caught the cult classic 28 Days. Well droppn’ this may with better fanfare comes the sequel cleverly named 28 Weeks Later. The trailer just hit the web in all it’s glorious resolutions. I admit I slept on the first film and caught it on DVD. The joint was pretty bananas and is on of my all time favorite zombies flicks(right next to Dawn of the Dead remake). After check out the trailer, i couldn’t help but get a sense of over production which Hollywood tends to do when they make sequels to low budget films that become hits. Either way, I will check this out in the theaters this time and hope it has the same charm as the first joint! Hit up the trailer and judge for yourself!

You gotta give up those guys at square-enix. They’ve truly masterd the art of cg cienamatics in video games. What i love about their cg is the attention to detail and animation that brings their videos to a certain level of hotness that is often hard to match from any other cg production company out there. And whats crazy, it’s all done in house as opposed to outsourcing it to other cg production studios. Check the intro from Final fantasy X and see the hotness that these guys can produce (besides making the whole game too!).
Okay boys and girls, I know some of you couldn’t handle wipeout pure but if you made up to the higher speeds and got 100% gold [like yours trully] on the American and the European version [yes I played both cuz they both had different tracks to download] you would have come to understand the meaning of a perfect lap.
Anyways, the Liverpool boys are doing a sequel and are actually adding new gameplay elements to the series… I stand on my ground that Pure was the best version since WO3 .. but this is sounding 2B2 damn good 2b true:
- online play [ad hoc and infrastructure] , the inclusion of magnetic rails, aka MAG-STRIPS, around gravity defying portions of the tracks to implement 90 degree drops, insane loops [miss em and you're dead] and more, the option to store your own music [FINALLY!!!], the ability to take in-game shots of your races for bragging rights and reference material, seven modes of play, including training mode to bring more to the franchise [that's good news for Dave], of course killa sounds from groups like Stanton Warriors and more …. sounds good ta me!!!
In a previous interview when asked about the difficulty for developing for PS3, Team Ninja’s had this to say about working on porting Ninja Gaiden to PS3 -
“…we more or less are recreating Ninja Gaiden with the most up-to-date graphic techniques in order to take advantage of the hardware…One of the best ways to do that was to have the game that runs at 1080p with a constant 60 fps, and utilize real-time self-shadowing. No other game has accomplished all three of these goals at once.
…The developers that say it’s too hard to develop for [the PS3] and complain about it are missing the point. It sounds like an excuse to the consumer to us…If we can do it then other people will be able to do it as well.”
Hopefully they will at least share their development techniques with the rest of those developers suffering out there to push the potential of the PS3. Well the proof is in the pudding, lets see if those 60fps hold on release day guys – talk is cheap.
The long and often rumored Ninja Gaiden DS has been officially unveiled in an official Japanese magazine. Those who are thinking it will be a 2d game can scratch that. The official title is Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword and will be 3d and as well as contain the same gameplay as the lastest versions of Ninja Gaiden. Not much else is known about the game, but you see from the scans that it is indeed looking pretty good! Now i’d like to know if it will have the insane difficulty as well!
P.s. you can also see in the scan what Ryu(dude with the red hair) looks like without his mask! Metrosexual guy indeed!
