X-Play Reduced to Three Shows A Week – Morgan Webb Masturbation Down 30%

It looks as though the recession’s long, unapologetic arm has reached the sets of G4 this week, and this time it’s going after X-Play and Attack of the Show.  Variety reports that X-Play will take a hit, and cut production to three shows a week, and AOTS will be reduced to four. Both shows previously aired five days a week on the G4 network. But it doesn’t end there. Layoffs will also be taking place among those working for G4, but hosts of X-Play, Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb, will seemingly be spared.

This recession thing is really starting to grind my gears. It’s hit quite close to home, since I am currently laid off as well. All I do all day is play videogames and eat Cheetos in my SpongeBob robe, hoping that the next big job opportunity is only a phone call away. (Please don’t take that last sentence seriously.) Anyways, it’s intriguing to know that a G4 representative said that the cuts and layoffs were, not so much, based on the recession as they were toward putting the gained income into fresh programming for 2009.

I, personally, am a big fan of the show. Morgan Webb is one of the more beautiful women I’ve ever seen, and she’s a gamer! Huh, Who woulda thought? Sessler always seems to grow on me, no matter how much I try to hate him, and the show seems to be charming me more and more each year. With all that being said, I didn’t really think it needed to be on the air five days a week, but it was never something I complained about either. AOTS isn’t completely my bag, but I always enjoyed any screen time Olivia Munn had.

I don’t know about you, gamers, but these layoffs are getting me down. Especially since I’m looking for work… AHHHHH! Well, here’s to hoping things perk up. As always, keep it real on the streets, kids.
