Tenchu 4… Wii EXCLUSIVE!

The stealthy ninja game that started it all is coming to the Mario camp in the form of Tenchu 4 exclusively to the Wii. Now for those who were left with a bad taste in your mouth from the recent and previous installments in the series can now breath a sigh of relief as the original team who worked on the first Tenchu are back hard at work on the series debut on the Wii. As with all early news, no detailed information is known, but one can already see from the scans, there appear to be grappling techniques incorporated into the game. As well as the series trade mark blood splatter.

I became a fan of the series late in the game and appreciate it’s Ninjitsu spin on the stealth game genre. I always thought of this series as the “realistic” ninja game in regards to everything from it’s sword play, old Japaneses settings and beautiful music. I was disappointed with the not so recent Xbox 360 version. So I am still a bit hesitant towards this one although I am some what at ease because the original team is at the helm.
