Overlord: Dark Legend Unleashes Its Minions At Comic Con

Yeah … that’s right, we’ve still got a pile of videos left from New York Comic Con for you guys to check out, and to kick off this week, we’ve got a look at “Overlord: Dark Legend” for the Wii. Coming out this June, “Dark Legend” serves as a prequel for the original “Overlord” game that was released in 2007 for the Xbox 360, it sets up the characters and the minions that we played a few years ago. But, I think it’s best to let “Overlord”’s overlord (read: Brand Manager) Dan Robinson explain what to expect when the game hits store shelves…

DC Universe Online – The Console MMO Arrives At NY Comic Con

If you want to get your comic book inspired console MMO fix on, there’s only one place that you’re going to be able to do that, in “DC Universe Online,” which comes courtesy of Sony Online Entertainment. At last week’s New York Comic Con We couldn’t pass up taking a look at, what could very well be, the first successful console MMO, and Unit had a chance to talk to a couple members of the SOE team that has been working on making the game accessible for an audience that more used to a controller than a keyboard. Check out what they had to say about “DC Universe Online.”

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Invade NY Comic Con

Unit’s on the floor again at this year’s New York Comic Con checking out the hottest games the show had to offer. This time around, he’s got an interview with Ian Stevens, Head of Production at Tigon, where he is overseeing Atari’s new PS3 and Xbox 360 game, “The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.” It’s an HD update to Riddick’s first adventure, “Escape from Butcher Bay” (in case you missed its original release) with additional new campaign layered on top of it, complete with a multiplayer experience. Ian gave TrueGameHeadz the lowdown on what to expect in Riddick’s new game, what’s different about “Dark Athena,” and whether or not this could be the last time we see Riddick in a game.

The Conduit – The New York Comic Con Interview

This past weekend TrueGameHeadz was all over New York Comic Con. One of the games we were most excited to check out was Sega’s “The Conduit.” We had a chance to interview a couple of the guys that worked on the game. Check out what “The Conduit”’s Chief Creative Officer, Eric Nofsinger had to tell Unit about the game.

If you want more on “The Conduit,” you can check out my hands-on impressions of the game that I posted earlier today.
