G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra

Oh, “G.I. Joe,” what am I going to do with you? When I originally heard that there was going to be a live-action movie based off of a beloved cartoon of my youth, I was a little concerned that they weren’t going to be able to pull it off. I have yet to see the movie, but I’ve heard good things. However, when I heard that there was going to be a game based off of that same movie I was a little more skeptical. I retained high hopes that, even though the game was based on a summer blockbuster that it might manage to still be good, even though the industry’s track record tends to fall a little short in that area. G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra Interview

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you should know that G.I. Joe’s got a new movie coming out this year, and it’s live action. Yeah, we’ll see how that goes… but to go along with the movie will be EA’s video game that will pick up where the movie leaves off, and continue Joe’s battle against Cobra. A few weeks ago, Unit got to check out a preview of the game, and talk with EA’s Senior Product Manager Jason Enos about what kinds of surprises are in store for all you G.I. Joe fans out there.
