If you don’t believe me, you can now find out for yourself, and download the new demo which is available on PSN and Xbox Live (gold members only) before the game comes out next month. If you still need convincing, just check out the trailer above… there, now that should do it. GO DOWNLOAD IT NOW.

Just Cause 2 Goes Stunt Crazy

The first “Just Cause” game had some appeal to it, but it was limited to being able to basically grapple anything you wanted in the game. “Just Cause 2″ takes it to the next level. Check out what appears to be just a sampling of the havoc you can wreak in the upcoming action game that will be on store shelves on March 23rd. At the very least, you’ll be able to answer the nagging question of truck vs. jet. (More explosions after the jump.)

E3 ‘09: Batman Arkham Asylum Developer Interview

E3 09
Batman Arkham AsylumFINALLY, Batman’s getting a badass game. “Arkham Asylum” is looking like it is going to be the quintisential Batman game that will set the standard for all other Batman games to come. E3 ‘09: Mini Ninjas Impressions

Mini Ninjas, developed by Eidos Interactive, is game developed with kids in mind.  Speaking with one of the creators of the game, he points out the motivating factor for this game was the birth of his, and his colleagues, kids.  Seems that the majority of the staff were having kids around the same time and wanted to make a game that they could play with their kids.  The game though geared towards a younger age is actually deep enough to be enjoyed by adults.

I had a chance to spend a few minutes with the game, at Eidos’ E3 booth and take on a few of the game’s challenge rooms with both Batman and the Joker. Here’s what you need to know about Gotham’s greatest detective’s next mission.

Inside the Nuthouse – A Look at Batman: Arkham Asylum

BatmanBatman games don’t normally have the highest success rate in the gaming industry. Whenever a new Batman game is announced, it’s usually met with much excitement, however, when they’re released they normally disappoint without fail. Fortunately, Eidos and Rocksteady are looking to change all that with “Batman: Arkham Asylum.”

The game is being shown off on the GDC show floor, and if ya ask me, it’s looking pretty sweet.  In the video below, Game Director, Sefton Hill, takes the liberty of explaining exactly how we will be disposing of the Joker’s baddies once inside Arkham. It looks like a pretty interesting take on stealth gameplay, (the explosive foam in the shape of a bat logo is a nice touch). What you see in the video is not actually part of the single player campaign, but a challenge mode that can be unlocked upon completion of the game. Apparently the game will be loaded with unlockables that will make Batman fans giddy in their pants. [Continue Reading]
