New FPS “Conduit” pops up on Wii..

Well the folks over at High Voltage studios were kind enough to step up to the plate to offer an original fps experience to the Wii. That offer comes in the form of Conduit. A futuristic fps shooter that takes play in Washington D.C. ad mist an alien invasion. The overall plot may sound like the generic formula used by countless fps titles before it, but what sets this apart on the Wii is the fact that High Volatage has took it upon themselves to build an engine that would attempt to get the best out of the Wii hardware. Ign broke the news on this upcoming title and along with that news, have a video tech demo which shows off what is possible running on the Wii hardware. It’s worth a look and shows that devs can get good results if they put the time and effort!
High Voltage have took inspirations from Metroid Prime 3 and the recent Medal of Honor Heroes 2 while developing the controls for the Wii-mote. They are already off to a good start as those previous titles pretty much nailed pin point accuracy(as close as you’ll get to a mouse) in an fps title and showed the world what can be done. High Voltage is currently looking for a publisher for the title and so, will keep the media informed as said publisher is secured. Hit up the link and view the tech demo below!
