Metal Gear Solid Fan Movie…WOW!

See folks, this is why I love fans. Whether they’re of movies, videogames, anime, comics etc. There’s always a group of them that’ll take the genre they love and create something thats totally mind blowing. Take for instance this fan movie called Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy. Here’s a good example of fans taking their love for the MGS series to the next level.

A group of fans who’s company The Hive Division consisting of film makers, special fx artist, costume designers and alot of talented folks. Have put together a full length 2 part (with the first clocking in over 60 mins) movie of an original MGS story written by them. And boy is this one hell of a fan flick! From the good acting to camera work and fx’s. This is one fan flick that stands at the top and proves once again, Hollywood sometimes needs to take a que from the little folks. Grab a drink, some popcorn and a comfortable seat and enjoy! And be sure to check back soon for part 2…and is that really David Hayter providing the voice of Snake?
