E3 - 2007 Ratchet & Clank Shows of Depth

e32007

In the new trailer for Tools of Destruction, the demo shows off some impressive depth, draw distance, and the share mass and size of the stages that you will get to traverse in this new game for the PS3. Insomniac is proving that hard work indeed pays off when developers put their minds, hearts, and hatred for tough code behind them. To make something as gorgeous looking as this can’t be system based alone. The Groovatron will go down in history as being one of the coolest devices to grace the series. I got into this series late; this year late but so far the PS2 titles that I have played are not too bad. Nothing serious but just plane fun. With dingbads bobbing and whining their waist before you send them to a cog-hell, how can it be wrong? :D

As if $ony wont stop the Home plugging, they also had the following trailer to show off more usability with the PS3.

And here’s one more for the road.

depth was probably refering to the many layers of detail that you can see going on the game, ie - your character animation, movement, actions and behaviors, the same for the enemies, the stage, and all the activity and destruction in the background perhaps.
