Kratos Brings Chaos In God of War III Launch Trailer

In case you missed it, yesterday was the big day, and “God of War III” finally hit store shelves. Kratos will finally be able to put an end to his long journey, and this trailer is a hell of a way to get amped about everything that the game has to offer. I’d tell you that you should check it out, but you’re probably too busy playing the game to be reading this site, which I completely and totally understand.

Faceez Review: Careful, Or You’ll Get Stuck Like That

When the original DS was released, included on board the system memory was a unique little program called Pictochat. Most DS users should be at least familiar with the program since you see it as an option every time you load up the system. When the DSi was released it followed suit and came packaged with a handful of different pack-in programs as well, one of which allowed you to edit pictures taken with the DSi’s camera. While it was a fairly robust little application, it was still limited in some capacities, and, overall, it just lacked a personality. Well, now Neko entertainment has taken some of the functionality of the photo editing software, improved on it, and released “Faceez” to the masses to tweak all their favorite pictures.

NBA Jam Trailer Provides No Hope That The Beastie Boys Are Unlockables

Like a flashback to 1996, the new “NBA Jam” trailer looks like it’s going to stick true to the franchise’s form and deliver an amazing arcade basketball experience. The animation and gameplay both look like they’ve got potential to cause fights between you and your friends, and really, isn’t that what “NBA Jam” is all about – fights and being on fire. Oh, and Bill Clinton.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing: Super Sonic Karts

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

Poor Sonic. He’s had such a bad run of games, and even worse run of racing games, that when “Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing” was announced most gamers just wrote it off as something not even worth trying. After all, “Sonic Drift,” “Sonic R,” and “Sonic Riders” aren’t a stellar line up of predecessors. However, Sega made the wise decision to open up the roster to include characters from outside of the Sonic universe, and that idea alone makes this game better than all the rest, but is that enough to make it a worthy purchase? Warning: New Brink Trailer May Cause Jaws To Drop

I don’t care how the game turns out, but this video already has my nomination for Trailer of the Year. Aside from the excessive use of face masks (it’s not Slipnot: The Game) everything about this clip looks amazing, from beginning to end. Before I saw this I didn’t care one bit about “Brink,” but now Bethesda, you have my full attention. Impress me.

Might & Magic Clash of Heroes In HD Makes My Day

In a surprising turn of events, the under-the-radar “Might and Magic Clash of Heroes” DS game is being ported for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. What? You say you’ve never cared about Might & Magic games? Yeah, me neither, until “Clash of Heroes.” I feel like I don’t really need to explain myself after I state one simple fact: Capy made it. Therefore, it is awesome.

Mafia II Trailer Puts You In The Shoes Of A Wise Guy

2K has a pretty solid release schedule for this year, and one of the highlights is definitely “Mafia II”. Other games have tried to put you in the roll of a gangster climbing up the ranks of organized crime, but “Mafia II” is looking to do it bigger and better than anything that’s come before it. Just check out the trailer above to see what you can expect when the game comes out later this year.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER Trailer Proves Platforming Is Tons-O-Fun

I don’t know if it’s possible for me to express just how amazing the BIT.TRIP series from Gaijin and Aksys Games is turning out. Four games in, and it’s still a bastion for creativity. Check out the trailer for the next game in the series, “RUNNER” and check out what looks like it’ll be a possibly the best platformer since “Canabalt.” Best of luck getting the high score on this one.

New Just Cause 2 Trailer Lets You Know That There’s A Demo Now Avalible

The original “Just Cause” had its problems. However, the sequel seems to have cleaned up its act and become a lot of fun to play. If you don’t believe me, you can now find out for yourself, and download the new demo which is available on PSN and Xbox Live (gold members only) before the game comes out next month. If you still need convincing, just check out the trailer above… there, now that should do it. GO DOWNLOAD IT NOW.

Aliens Vs. Predator Review: Commence Intergalactic War

Aliens Vs Predator

Taking two classic science fiction action movies and mashing them together into one co-existing world is a daunting task, no matter what source material you’re dealing with. But, it’s particularly challenging when the overall concept is something that has been happening, at least in the imaginations of fans, for the last twenty or so years, and that’s exactly has been happening with the Alien and Predator franchises. Sure, they’ve had a few movies made about them together, but Sega’s “Aliens vs Predator” is the first time the two warring factions have ever made it into the hands of console gamers. That alone should raise a few eyebrows, but when you add into the mix the fact that the game offers players the ability to play as all three species; Xenomoprh, Predator, and Human, it should do a little more than just raise eyebrows.
